On December 23. in the open-pit mine ecological park in front of the open-pit mine museum, the Ninth Nationwide Fitness Walking Festival in Maoming City was held. More than 30,000 hiking enthusiasts and representatives of social groups and enterprises joined the walk, experiencing the change of the Maoming Open-pit Mine from an “urban scar” to the “business card of green city”, tracing the footprints of the “ High-quality Development of Hundreds of Counties, Thousands of Towns and Tens of Thousands of Villages” project of Maoming, and witnessing the fruitful results of rural revitalization in Maoming.

Employees of Ubridge enthusiastically participated in the event, walking with the public and representatives of various enterprises to feel the physical and mental pleasure of exercise and experience the changes brought to Maoming by environmental development and rural revitalization.

Coincidentally, the route of this walking festival passes through the “Ubridge Haoxin Forest”, which is a group of purple trumpet trees planted by our colleagues in June this year during Ubridge's participation in the 2023 “Haoxin Forest” and “Carbon Sinking Forest” public welfare planting activity in Tanwu Yezishu Village of Jintang Town with a sponsorship of RMB 250,000. The saplings planted back then have grown up and some of them were blooming.

Actively participate in social welfare activities, feel the great changes in the hometown today and tomorrow, and enhance the sense of mission to love and develop the hometown - this is also an extension of the connotation of Ubridge’s corporate culture.
