On the afternoon of June 26, Guangxi Ubridge New Material Technology Co., Ltd Fangchenggang Branch held the “2023 Work Safety Month Safety Production Knowledge Competition” in the conference room on the fourth floor. A total of 9 teams participated in the competition, including the joint team of the Comprehensive Administration Department and Finance Section, the team of Technology and Quality Section, the team of Equipment and Power Section, the team 1 and 2 of Beneficiation Workshop, the team 1 and 2 of Reduction Workshop, and the team 1 and 2 of Corrosion Workshop of Guangxi Ubridge. After an intense competition, the first, second, and third prizes were settled.
The Safety Production Management Committee of Guangxi Ubridge carefully planned and organized this competition in the “22nd National Work Safety Month”, which is to thoroughly implement the Work Safety Law, the 15 Measures of Work Safety by the State Council, and the 20 Innovative Measures of Work Safety by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, so as to firmly implement the red-line awareness, strengthen the implementation of the safety production responsibility system, effectively improve the quality of risk and hidden danger investigation and rectification, enhance the initiative and ability to find and solve problems, and strengthen the safety awareness and escape ability of all the staff.
There were 9 teams participating in this safety knowledge competition, each consisting of 4 members. The competition was divided into 5 sections of “working together”, “fighting for time”, “selecting each’s own skills”, “dueling”, and “on-site audience answering questions”. The content of the competition covered
①. Work safety laws, regulations, standards, and norms (Work Safety Law, Environmental Protection Law, Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law, Traffic Safety Law).
②. Job safety operation procedures.
③. Warning education film of production safety accident videos, emergency response protocols for on-site production safety accidents.
④. Work safety standardization assessment standards for beneficiation enterprises.
⑤. The latest safety management system issued by the company.
⑥. Other safety, environmental protection, and occupational health regulations and standards.
The players of each team were well-prepared and reacted quickly. Each time they answered the questions, they won a burst of applause from the audience.
In the “fighting for time” quick response session, the contestants competed against each other, creating a tense and enthusiastic atmosphere for the event.
In the “on-site audience answering questions” session, the audience interacted actively. Those who answered correctly won a small gift.
After a fierce competition, the joint team of the comprehensive administration department and the finance section won the first prize with excellent performance. Team 1 of the corrosion workshop and Team 1 of the equipment and power section won the second prize. Team 1 of the Beneficiation Workshop, Team 1 of the technology and quality section, and Team 2 of the beneficiation workshop won the third prizes respectively. Although Team 2 of the reduction workshop and Team 2 of the corrosion workshop did not get any rank in the competition, their strength should not be underestimated. The boldness and performance of the participants in answering the questions were just as wonderful.
The whole competition was completed in a relaxed, cheerful, but intense atmosphere, and achieved a complete success.
The competition has created an atmosphere of learning and education, inspired the enthusiasm of the staff to learn, deepened their understanding and mastery of knowledge required for their posts, tested the effect of the company's safety knowledge training, and urged all the staff to devote themselves to safety production with a more responsible attitude to jointly promote the safe and smooth operation of the company.
