In June 2025, during the 24th national “Work Safety Month”, Ubridge New Material centered on the theme of “everyone talks about safety, everyone knows emergency response” - find the hidden dangers of safety around”. All departments and subordinate units carried out a series of activities synchronously to enhance the safety awareness and emergency response ability of all staff to ensure the production safety of the enterprise.
I. Integrated Deployment by the Headquarters to Create a Strong Atmosphere of Work Safety
The Safety Committee of Ubridge New Material attached great importance to the activity and formulated the “Implementation Plan of 2025 Work Safety Month Activity”, specifying the four main themes of “Publicity and mobilization, education and training, hidden dangers management, and emergency response drills”. During the activity, the headquarters distributed the “Work Safety Knowledge Manual” through the exhibition board on the 22nd floor and the poster site on the 21st floor, and organized the study of cases such as the “7-17” Fire Accident of Jiuding Building in Zigong, Sichuan", creating a strong atmosphere of safety culture and popularizing the safety laws and regulations and emergency response skills. In addition, the company organized a safety knowledge competition, which covered more than 560 employees, thereby fostering a positive environment of “promoting learning through competition, and promoting action through learning”.
II. Subordinate Units Synergize to Promote Safety Practices in a Deep and Practical Way
(A) High-Tech Factory: Full-Chain Control to Build a Strong Safety System
The High-Tech Factory has established a closed-loop safety control system of “publicity + commitment + training + competition + rectification”, and introduced the AI hidden danger inspection technology.
1. Publicity and mobilization: The factory made 4 banners and 2 blackboard newspapers, and played warning cases all hours on LED screens to create a strong atmosphere of “see the safety cases and think of risks at any time”.
2. Commitment to responsibility: The factory organized all the staff to sign the “Commitment to Safety in Production” to clarify work safety responsibilities and strengthen the “one job, two responsibilities” awareness.
3. Training and education: The factory pushed safety knowledge through the company WeChat groups every day, and carried out training such as “Xi Jinping General Secretary's Discourse on Work Safety” and “Interpretation of Determination Criteria for Major Hidden Dangers” to cover all staff.
4. Practical drills: The factory organized the “Hidden Danger Picture Finding Contest” and “Emergency Operation Race” to simulate scenarios such as fire extinguishing, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and equipment malfunctioning, so as to improve the speed of emergency response.
5. Hidden danger management: The factory launched the “Hidden Danger Identification Video Competition” to encourage employees to film post risks and formulate preventive and control measures. It also collaborated with the headquarters to carry out a special inspection. The inspection identified 96 hidden dangers and established a “list of problems - responsibility for rectification - write off after acceptance” mechanism, dynamically tracking the rectification.
(B) Guangxi Fangchenggang No.1 Plant: Precise Measures to Identify Hidden Dangers and Drills to Train Emergency Response Capability
Fangchenggang No.1 Plant has adopted the “monitoring + management” system to improve the effectiveness of safety management.
1. Refining hidden danger identification: the Plant has adopted the mode of “professional inspection + employee reporting” and organized special inspections covering key areas such as production equipment, electrical lines, and storage sites of hazardous chemicals. The “Hidden Danger Exposure Desk” was set up to publicly notify of typical problems and reward reporting employees.
2. Scenario-based emergency drills: the plant carried out practical drills, such as limited space poisoning, to test the feasibility of the plan and shorten the emergency response time.
3. Diversification of publicity and education: the plant organized staff to watch the feature program “Three-year Action to Address the Roots of Work Safety Problems” and participated in the “Safety Publicity and Consultation Day” in the Gangkou district, which popularized the knowledge of safety in the form of explanation on exhibition boards and interactive questions and answers. The plant also organized the “KYT” competition, allowing employees to quickly identify potential safety hazards, analyze the corresponding risks, and accurately put forward scientific preventive measures by observing pictures that simulate real work scenarios.
(C) Guangxi Fangchenggang No.2 Plant: Practical Drill Competitions to Polish Safety Skills
The Fangchenggang No.2 Plant has taken “competition + drill” as the core to build a safety training mode of “promoting learning by competition and mastering by drills”.
1. Plant-wide skill competitions: the plant organized drills such as electric shock treatment, respirator wearing, and CPR to improve the emergency response ability of employees.
2. Emergency drills for the entire workflow: the plant organized simulation of forklift rollover, electrocution accidents and other scenarios to test the collaborative competence in emergency command, rescue and handling, medical care and other aspects. Special drills were also carried out to address the heatstroke risk in hot weather, strengthening the protection of occupational health.
3. Normalization of daily management: the plant pushed accident cases through WeChat group and carried out a “Daily Answer” safety knowledge test. A total of 246 people answered the questions, and the questions were answered 10,664 times.
(D) South China Titanium Valley Project Department: Organizing Competitions to Guide Innovation and Establish a Safety Culture Ecology
The South China Titanium Valley Project Department has adopted the “competition + innovation” mode to promote the deep integration of safety management and enterprise culture.
1. Hidden danger identification competition: 5 teams were organized to carry out the “Hidden Dangers around Us” activity, identifying risks through on-site picture analysis.
2. Safety knowledge contest: centered on laws and regulations, fire safety, emergency disposal, and other contents, the contestants answered the quick response questions and scenario questions calmly, creating an intense atmosphere of competition.
III. Activities with Remarkable Results to Continuously Consolidate the Foundation of Safety
This activity covered the whole system of Ubridge New Material. Through the mode of “theory + practice” and “online + offline”, the safety awareness of the staff has been further enhanced, the ability of hidden danger investigation and management further improved, and the work safety management system further supplemented.
Ubridge New Material will continue to promote the construction of a long-term mechanism for work safety. The company will integrate hidden danger inspection into the daily assessment and promote the transformation of safety management to ex ante prevention to build an industry safety benchmarking enterprise.
