On the afternoon of October 19th, Mr. Zhao Qing, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Commerce and his team, accompanied by Mr. Zhu Hailong, Deputy Mayor of the Municipal Standing Committee, Mr. Yang Runxing, Secretary General of the Municipal People's Consultative Conference and Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Commerce Bureau, Mr. Xu Jihua, Secretary General of the Municipal Government, Mr. Yang Xi, Secretary of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Mr. Yang Xiang, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Mr. Ye Xiuxin, Director of the Binhai New Area Management Committee, visited Ubridge for investigation. This investigation is to promote the construction of key projects in key ports and harbors in Guangdong Province. As a typical fast-growing foreign trade enterprise in Maoming, Ubridge has shown rapid growth in raw material imports and product exports over the past three years, with increasing utilization and dependence on local ports. Therefore, the first stop of Mr. Zhao Qing's investigation in Maoming was assigned to Guangdong Ubridge Hi-tech Mineral Processing Factory.
Company CEO Zhang Zhicheng reported to the investigation group on the development trend of the titanium and zirconium industry in recent years, and reported in detail on the planning of the “South China Titanium Valley Industrial Base” project and the current progress of the relevant sub-projects, in particular, the geometric growth in import volume and amount of raw materials and the export volume and amount of products once the “South China Titanium Valley” being put into full production.
