On the morning of May 27th, the 3rd Maoming Businessmen Conference and the City's Private Economy Work Conference was held at the Maoming Civic Center.
Since the reform and opening up, generation after generation of Maoming businessmen have been striving in the market, passing on the spirit of goodwill and breaking into new fields, weaving a network of economy, trading, and cooperation between Maoming and rest of China and even the world. The Maoming Businessmen Conference, hosted by the Maoming Municipal Party Committee and Municipal People’s Government every two years since 2018, aims to unite the power of Maoming businessmen, promote the spirit of their goodwill, leverage their resources and strength, and jointly promote the high-quality development of Maoming's economy.
It is reported that a total of more than 970 entrepreneurs of Maoming origin from home and abroad attended the conference. Mr. Li Lvhua, Chairman of Ubridge, was invited to attend and make a keynote speech.
Mr. Li commented in his speech that, Guangdong Province has put forward the strategy of "manufacturing industry as the leader", and Maoming City was confirmed to be built into a new energy base of green chemical and new materials industries. He felt excited and confident about it. Ubridge has decided to put the future headquarters in Maoming, which will be followed by major investments and the most important development projects in the city. This is a strong recognition of the business environment in Maoming.
Maoming City has the basic conditions and latecomer advantages for the development of the green chemical industry, new material industry, and new energy industry, especially in the port infrastructure, and investment environment, which is very favorable to the development of the new material industry. Looking ahead, Ubridge will take technology research and product development as the primary task, insist on talent as the first resource, increase the investment in R&D funds, accelerate digital transformation, and be innovative. The company will increase efforts to achieve the high-quality development of new materials and new energy. Leaders of the company will study and implement the guiding spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the central, provincial, and municipal economic work conference, adhere to the "14th Five-Year Plan" development goals, the general principle of “Steady progress”, and the development direction of "Innovation and transformation”. The Maoming Businessmen Conference also announced and recognized the 2022 Top 100 Maoming Enterprises, 2022 Top 50 Maoming Manufacturing Enterprises, and Private Enterprises of Outstanding Performance in the "Ten Thousand Enterprises Revitalizing Ten Thousand Villages" action of Maoming. Ubridge won the "2022 Top 100 Maoming Enterprises" and the Private Enterprise of Outstanding Performance in the "Ten Thousand Enterprises Revitalizing Ten Thousand Villages" action of Maoming.
