On the evening of May 6, the South China Titanium Valley Project Department organized more than 70 employees to watch "Blood-Spattered Cliff", a film about the Long March, at the cinema.

The film tells the story of 1935, when the Sixth Army Corps of the Red Army was ordered to march westward to scout the way for the strategic transfer of the Central Red Army. After breaking through four enemy blockade lines, it entered Ganxi Town, Shiqian County, Guizhou Province in October of that year, and was immediately surrounded by a large enemy force. In order to ensure the successful breakout of the main Red Army force, the Corps’ Eighteenth Division fought a desperate battle with the enemy. More than 800 soldiers of its 52nd Regiment even took the initiative to lure the enemy to Kunniu Mountain, which was surrounded by rivers on three sides and a sheer cliff on one side.
Although the enemy outnumbered the besieged Red Army soldiers by dozens to one, they were unable to break through the defenses. Eager for a quick victory, the enemy forced local civilians to serve as human shields as they advanced step by step. Facing imminent danger, the Red Army soldiers chose to die rather than be taken prisoner or harm the civilians, and resolutely leaped to their deaths from the cliff of Kunniu Mountain. This act powerfully embodies their unwavering commitment to the values of “faith above all, the people above all, and life above all.”

The war has passed, but the legacy of the Red Army remains. Although the battle of Kunniu Mountain is now history, the heroic deeds of the Red Army soldiers have deeply moved every viewer. It will serve as an immortal spiritual landmark, inspiring future generations to carry on the legacy and create a better life.
After the screening, all employees remained deeply moved by the touching storyline. Everyone agreed that the film had inspired them to embrace their roles with dedication and channel the spirit of the Battle of Kunniu Mountain into a powerful driving force for their daily work. With a strong sense of responsibility and dedication, they are determined to contribute their share of effort to the South China Titanium Valley Industrial Chain Project and ensure the timely completion and commissioning of its synthetic rutile production line.
