Looking back to 2024, Ubridge people experienced the turbulence of the market. Little by little, all the wonderful and unforgettable moments of hard work put together a meaningful 2024. And we have achieved a deeper understanding of the significance of the struggle and the value of hard work, as well as a deeper sense of solidarity and aspiration.
In 2024, we have made firm and steady advancements, developing strong bases for production to strengthen the industrial chains.
Under the leadership of the municipal party committee and municipal government of Maoming, and with the strong support and assistance of the management committee of the High-tech Zone, Ubridge has strived to advance the South China Titanium Valley industry chain project. As a “Guangdong Province Key Construction Project", it is an important support for industrial chain strengthening of Maoming's "Five Chains” project. From project approval to ground investigation, project design, large equipment ordering, and infrastructure construction, Ubridge people have been racing against time and overcoming difficulties to carry out large-scale project construction in the Maoming High-tech Zone with high efficiency and determination. The concrete buildings have demonstrated the confidence and determination of the chain development of Ubridge New Material, and witnessed our courageous advancement for the completion of the port-surrounding titanium and zirconium new material industry chain base with international influence.
In 2024, we have made a great effort in management, and further strengthened the foundation of our development.
Ubridge focused on reducing costs and improving efficiency, highlighting the core task of “tapping the potential to improve quality and reduce consumption”, and practicing the principle of “all savings are profits”. We adopted fine management and broke down targets and responsibilities, focusing on details and effectiveness to improve operation quality. Carrying forward the good tradition of hard work, diligence and thrift, we made efforts to improve operation and management, enabling the company to succeed in cost control and efficiency enhancement.
Ubridge has adhered to the concept of “safety is a benefit”, and focused on promoting the construction of an integrated mechanism to achieve our work safety goals. We strived to improve the system of responsibility for work safety and implemented the “one post, two responsibilities” regulation. All the staff have signed a letter of responsibility and taken the initiative in work safety management. The company has achieved full participation in work safety, standardized operation with timely correction, strict internal control, and effective implementation of the work requirements. With the institutionalization and long-term implementation of the “one post, two responsibilities” regulation, Ubridge's overall management of work safety management has been improved.
In 2024, we have been working hard to expand our market share.
With the continuous optimization of the production process, the stability of the product quality has been improved and the production capacity has been released. Ubridge has actively reached out to the diverse market, optimized our product portfolio and customer structure, and constantly improved our customer satisfaction and service, while making full use of new opportunities to strengthen the connection with our old customers and seize more foreign market share. In 2024, we have signed large orders with some major customers, achieving an increase of about 8% in supply rate with 16 new cooperative customers to further ensure the supply of raw materials.
In order to successfully carry out international trade, we further standardized and improved our social responsibility management system in accordance with the requirements of EcoVadis, a global trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. We were awarded the bronze certificate validated and issued by EcoVadis, getting a green passport for Ubridge products in international trade!
In 2024, Ubridge New Material once again won the honor of “Top 10 Enterprise of Comprehensive Strength in China Titanium and Zirconium Industry” after winning the honor of “Top 10 Enterprise of Comprehensive Strength in China Titanium Industry” in 2022. The recognition of the industry boosts our confidence and motivation for further development.
In 2024, we have been working hard to build a strong enterprise in science and technology.
Ubridge has always taken scientific and technological innovation as the primary driving force of the company. We have gathered efforts to carry out leading scientific and technological research, and carried out research on process upgrading and optimization, product upgrading, and new product research and development. Our innovation capability has been improved with fruitful results, obtaining a total of 13 new patents (including 9 invention patents) authorized by the China Intellectual Property Administration this year. The total number of patents of the company has reached 96 (including 20 invention patents). The company has also been approved to set up the Guangdong Province Doctoral Workstation, Guangdong Province Science and Technology Expert Workstation, and GDSTA HOME Program Workstation. One of our scientific and technological achievements has won the third prize in the 2023 China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award. Guangxi Ubridge has been awarded the “Individual Champion Enterprise of Manufacturing Industry in Guangxi”. After Guangdong Ubridge was recognized as a National-level Specialized and Sophisticated “Little Giant” Enterprise, Ubridge New Material has grown into a controlling entity with two National-level Specialized and Sophisticated “Little Giant” Enterprises.
In 2024, we have been striving to build a caring and socially responsible enterprise.
Ubridge has been participating in various social welfare activities. In addition to the donation of a new plastic track, Ubridge subsidized the renovation of the “Ubridge Library of Love” in Dongfeng Primary School of Maonan District, donated children's books, and set up a fund to award teaching. We also awarded scholarships and scholarships to 22 students of Gaozhou High School for the 6th consecutive year. For these efforts, Ubridge has been awarded the annual Guangdong Poverty Alleviation Cotton Tree Cup, the title “Guangdong Red Cross Caritative Unit”, and the Chinese Red Cross Dedication Medal and a certificate.
The company has also organized staff to participate in spring tree planting, national fitness walking, and the Maoming Marathon. We encouraged staff to participate in the “Four-player Basketball Friendly Match”, “Maker in Maoming” competition, and “Northwest Guangdong Intellectual Property Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition”, and achieved excellent results. We also organized internal speech contests, technical competitions, star employee evaluations, awards for technological reform and innovation, and employee birthday parties.
