To celebrate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Party Branch of Guangdong Ubridge New Material Technology Co., Ltd. organized a series of activities, including learning from role models, listening to Party lessons, and voluntary blood donation, to strengthen the Party spirit and gather strengthen of advancement, paying tribute to the Party's birthday with practical actions.
I. Studying Role Models to Establish a Firm Ideological Foundation
On June 15, 2025, Typhoon Wutip attacked. At 0:42, Ms. Liu Mingfang, the Chairperson of the Women's Federation of Zhonghe Village, Guizi Town, Xinyi County-level City, Maoming City, perceived the sign of risk of landslide during the inspection of the Lian’er natural village. She immediately reported the situation and alerted the villagers in cooperation with the town and village cadres through manual alarm, gongs, and knocking on the door. Within one hour, a total of 57 villagers from 25 households were successfully transferred to the resettlement site, narrowly escaping a disaster of 5,000 cubic meters of soil and stones pouring down on nearly half of the village.
On June 20, the Party Branch of Ubridge held a “Seminar on Learning from Excellent Communist Party Member Comrade Liu Mingfang”. The meeting introduced in detail the deeds of Comrade Liu Mingfang, promoting the spirit of her rootedness in the grassroots, care for the people, meticulous work, and dedication to her duties by playing short films and news interview videos. Participating Party members and applicants enthusiastically and freely discussed the learning experience based on their respective post practice.
Branch Secretary Mr. Li Lvhua emphasized in his concluding remarks that all members of the company should take Ms. Liu Mingfang as an example and continue to learn and improve themselves based on their position practices and the needs of enterprise development, dedicating to the cause of scientific and technological innovation, industrial upgrading, taking on the mission with passion, and fulfilling their original aspirations with practical work.
II. Tracing the Party’s Footprints to Learn from the Great Power of Development
On June 26, the Party Branch of Ubridge organized 21 Party members, applicants, and staff representatives to Baiqiao Village in Gaozhou to carry out a study on the theme of “Party Building Leads Rural Revitalization”. In the lecture hall of Baiqiao, experts from the Party School of Maoming Municipal Committee of the CPC gave an in-depth interpretation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches during his visit to Guangdong under the title of “Anchoring the Overall Goal of Being at the Forefront and Promoting the Practice of Chinese-style Modernization in Guangdong”, helping the participants to understand the significance of the Party's innovative theories in guiding high-quality development.
Subsequently, the study team visited the Baiqiao Stronger-Village Company, Gongyuan Lychee Plantation, Lychee Museum, and Baiqiao Service Area. Through the mode of “thematic teaching + on-site teaching”, the team systematically learned the industrial innovative mode of rural revitalization, ecological protection experience, and cultural heritage path. Mr. Zhang Zhicheng, President of Ubridge New Material, remarked that the activity was not only a vivid party education, but also a profound practical research. The staff not only experienced the results of rural revitalization but also consolidated the ideological consensus of “listen to the Party and follow its lead”, promoting the synergistic development of the enterprise and the community with new kinetic energy.
III. Responding to the Call to Organize and Mobilize Party Members and Ordinary Staff for Voluntary Blood Donation
On July 1, the Party Branch of Ubridge responded to the call of the Maoming Municipal Health Bureau and organized and mobilized a total of 45 people, including Party members, Party applicants, and front-line employees, to participate in voluntary blood donation. With coordination with the city central blood station, blood collection trucks were sent to the plant for the donation activity.
At the site of activity, Party members took the lead, and employees were enthusiastic. Among them, there were both “veterans” who had donated blood many times and “new recruits” who rolled up their sleeves for the first time. Participants filled out forms and went through the procedures of health screening, blood type testing, waiting in line, drawing blood, and taking a rest. All the processes were carried out in an orderly manner under the guidance of the medical staff. Participants were filled with pride as they watched their blood flowing into the plasma bags. A total of nearly 12,000 ml of healthy blood was donated during the activity!
In order to encourage party members and cadres to actively participate in such public welfare activities, CEO Mr. Zhang Zhicheng took time to personally attend the activity and issued each blood donor a 300-yuan condolence red packet on behalf of the company.
This series of activities is an important practice of the Party Branch of Ubridge to deepen the theme education and strengthen the leadership of party building. By learning ideas, strengthening Party spirit, and emphasizing practice, all Party members and employees have strengthened their ideals and beliefs and enhanced their sense of responsibility for contributing to the high-quality development of the enterprise and social progress.
