From May 23rd to 24th, the 2024 Zircon Conference hosted by ZIA (Zircon Industry Association) was held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Perth, Western Australia. Representatives from more than 130 internationally renowned miners in the zircon industry, such as Iluka Resources, Image Resources, Kenmare Resources, Tronox Incorporated, Sheffield Resources, Kimberley, consulting firm TZMI, and investment institutions attended the conference. Zhang Zhicheng, CEO & Executive Director of Ubridge New Material, and Li Juefei, Deputy General Manager of the Procurement Department, were invited.
ZIA (Zircon Industry Association) 2024 Zircon Conference, as one of the most influential events in the industry, brings together related miners from all over the world, providing ample opportunities for ZIA members and guests to exchange views, listen to the latest macro and micro economic analyses by economic experts, network with peers and subject experts to discuss important zirconium industry development issues, and promote the healthy development of the industry.
The latest zirconium industry technologies and products were exhibited at the conference site, providing participants with the opportunity to understand the dynamics of the industry.
During the first two days of the conference (May 21-22), the organizers also organized field trips for the participants to world-renowned mining sites, such as Thunderbird of Kimberley Mineral Sands, Coburn of Strandline Resources, and Image Resources, enabling industry peers to exchange ideas and gain valuable experience.
