From the establishment of the project in May 2023, to starting the construction on the first lot of land in December, in just a few months, the South China Titanium Valley Project of Ubridge has made progress at a high speed.

In May 2023, Maoming High-tech Zone proposed to build a titanium-zirconium new material industrial park of hundred-billion-scale. They planned to construct a beneficiation and deep processing zone for titanium-zirconium mineral resources, a chemical material zone, and a high value-added new material zone to create the only cluster in the country covering the whole titanium industry chain from ore, synthetic rutile to titanium materials and downstream industries. Guangdong Ubridge was defined as the "chain master" enterprise to lead the development of titanium-zirconium new materials downstream industries and equipment manufacturing industry, forming a linked and aggregated development pattern of the "chain master" enterprise promoting upstream and downstream "chain“ enterprises in motion.
Ubridge New Material has been engaged in titanium-zirconium mineral resources beneficiation for more than 30 years, with more than 80 beneficiation technology patents in possession. We are a Specialized and Sophisticated SME in Guangdong Province. The quality of our products, social credibility, comprehensive strength, and our wide range of long-term stable downstream partners are highly recognized. Seizing the momentum, Ubridge proposed the plan for the South China Titanium Valley Industrial Chain Project, and immediately received support from the Maoming Municipal People’s Government. The project was included in the government's work report, and soon received approval for the construction in the Maoming High-tech Zone. The High-tech Zone government had set up a project task force completed the land planning promptly, and provided one-on-one guidance to timely communicate and follow up on the project. Under the strong support of the municipal government and High-tech Zone, after securing the land on December 9, Ubridge finished the project commanding center on the site by January 9, 2024.
In the recently held On-site Exchange Meeting for High-quality Industrial Development of the City’s Counties, and the Three Platforms, the South China Titanium Valley Project of Ubridge New Material was awarded the “Best Chain Supplementing and Chain Strengthening Project”. It is reported that the project has been included in the Guangdong Province 2024 annual key construction projects.
The exhibition hall of the project is being renovated, and will be completed soon. The preparatory work for each sub-project is progressing according to the plan. We strive to start construction in the first half of the year.
The South China Titanium Valley Project of Ubridge New Material has a total investment of RMB 18.6 billion, covering an area of over 233 hectares. It is expected to achieve an annual output value of RMB 51.5 billion after commissioning, an industrial added value of RMB 14 billion, a profit tax of RMB 12 billion, and a net tax revenue of RMB 2.65 billion, providing 3,778 people with employment opportunities.
The project aims to create a hundred-billion-scale industry cluster by enabling the “chain master” enterprise to lead with support from diversified upstream and downstream industries. According to the plan, by the end of the “14th Five-Year Plan”, the South China Titanium Valley will break the status quo of a single segment dominating the chemical industry of Maoming. It will become a national advanced manufacturing base for new materials with distinctive features and competitive advantages, and form an intelligent and digitalized manufacturing cluster of titanium and zirconium new materials with international influence.
