Recently, Guangxi Fangchenggang Science and Technology Bureau issued the "Fangchenggang Science and Technology Bureau on Announcing the List of the First Batch of 2023 Fangchenggang Engineering Technology Research Centers”. Guangxi Ubridge New Material Technology Co., Ltd. was recognized as the "Fangchenggang Engineering Technology Research Center of Titanium-Zirconium Processing and Comprehensive Resource Utilization”. We are one of the two engineering technology research centers recognized by Fangchenggang City this year.
Enterprise Engineering Technology Research and Development Center is a qualification by the governmental science and technology management department on company research and development institutions, which is of high value and widely received.
Usually, there are three qualification levels for enterprise engineering technology research centers, being the national, provincial, and municipal levels. The selection conditions and requirements for each level of qualification are very strict. For the recognition of a municipal engineering and technology research center, the company to be examined must be an independent corporate enterprise with independent R&D institutions, has achieved certain scientific and technological achievements, and its corresponding management mechanisms shall be under normal operation. The company shall have an annual output value of more than RMB 500 million yuan, and its average annual research and development expenditure in the previous two years shall be not less than 2.5% of its annual sales revenue, or not less than RMB 20 million. The company shall have leading scientific and technological research capability in the industry, be equipped with devices required for R&D, and have a technology leader with strong R&D and management ability and an R&D team of not less than 30 people with rich experience in industrialization practice. The ratio of technical personnel to the total number of employees shall be not less than 10%. The company shall have close contact with the scientific and technological community and industry, and be able to support cooperation between the industry, university, and research.
After the selection by the governmental science and technology management department, a contract for the construction of the engineering and technology research and development center will be signed by the department and the company, and financial support will be provided. After the expiration of the construction period, for those that pass the acceptance, the department will issue a plaque, and the engineering technology research center will thereby enjoy the preferential policies given by the municipal government to scientific research institutions. The project declared by this engineering technology research center will also be given priority consideration for approval.
