At 8:08 a.m. on 18th October, with a burst of loud firecrackers, 1# rotary kiln of the synthetic rutile production line of Guangxi Ubridge Fangchenggang Branch was officially ignited.

The 200,000 tons/year synthetic rutile production line technological upgrading and expansion  project, invested by Guangdong Ubridge New Material Technology Co., Ltd. with close to RMB 600 million and covering nearly 14 hectares, started construction in May 2019.

During the construction, the constructors overcame the influence of long holidays such as the Spring Festival, the COVID-19 pandemic, typhoons, unbroken spells of wet weather, etc., and completed the project construction successfully in 16 months.

The 200,000 Tons/Year Synthetic Rutile Production Line Technological Upgrading and Expansion Project of Guangxi Ubridge Fangchenggang Branch is one of the domestic large-scale synthetic rutile production lines. Its successful ignition marks that the production line is about to enter into a full-scale trial production stage. It also indicates that the “Ubridge” brand synthetic rutile will soon reach the market of the titanium and zirconium industry with a brand-new outlook.
