At 10:00 a.m. on June 23rd, the Panama ship “JIAN RUI 7” departed Fangchenggang of Guangxi and shipped the first batch of 3,150 tons of Ubridge synthetic rutile abroad.

Founded in 1989, Guangdong Ubridge New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is a well-known private enterprise specializing in the production and processing of titanium and zirconium minerals. We have been recognized by the Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation as an “Enterprise of Observing Contract and Valuing Credit for 29 consecutive years”. The Guangxi Ubridge New Material Technology Co., Ltd Fangchenggang Branch, which belongs to the same actual controller, started construction in May 2019 with a total investment of RMB 600 million. The main product of the branch company is synthetic rutile, which is a high-quality substitute for natural rutile and can be used to manufacture high-grade titanium dioxide, high-quality welding rods and wires, and to produce titanium tetrachloride, titanium metal, as well as enameled products and welding electrode coating. The production line of synthetic rutile with a design capacity of 200,000 tons/year started trial production in November 2020.

The shipment of Ubridge synthetic rutile is the first successful export of self-produced synthetic rutile by Guangdong Ubridge New Material Technology Co., Ltd. It marks that Ubridge synthetic rutile, with its excellent quality, has officially entered the international market. It also marks that China has reached the international advanced level in the manufacture of enriched titanium materials and is expected to break the international monopoly. This will provide strong support for the development of China's chloride pigment titanium dioxide, titanium sponge, and titanium materials manufacturing.
