Comprehensive investigation of risks and hidden dangers for production safety
On May 4th, Mr. Tan Pichuang, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, led a team to investigate the resumption of work and production, safety production, and epidemic prevention and control of the enterprises, as well as the safety hazards investigation in residents' self-built houses in the Port District. On that morning, Mr. Tan Pichuang visited Guangxi Ubridge and exchanged ideas with the heads of the enterprise while investigating the operation and production safety status of Ubridge, and the current difficulties faced by the enterprise. He affirmed the development prospects and social benefits of the enterprise and encouraged Ubridge to continue to strengthen the technological research and lead the high-quality synergistic development of the upstream and downstream industrial chain. He emphasized that production safety is the top priority of enterprise development, and we should always put safety production in the first place, equip sufficient quantity and appropriate types of fire-fighting apparatus and equipment to ensure production safety. He stated that governmental departments at all levels should strengthen the sense of service and take the initiative to provide services in project application and financing. A “one policy for one enterprise” approach should be adopted to facilitate the implementation of preferential policies to create a favorable environment for enterprise development.
That morning, Mr. Tan Pichuang also visited Yufeng Road of Port District and Zhenzhu Road of Yiyuan Block in Peach Blossom Bay Community. Through on-site inspections and reports, Mr. Tan Pichuang learned in detail about the “three-in-one” and “one-in-one” residents' self-constructed houses, which have mixed functions of production, business operation, and residence, so as to understand the situation of screening and handling of potential safety hazards. Mr. Tan Pichuang emphasized that production safety is the premise and foundation of all work. Departments at all levels should strengthen communication to coordinate the screening of self-built house safety hazards and promote the investigation and rectification effectively. Priorities should be given accordingly to properly evaluate the self-built houses for timely identification and elimination of potential safety hazards. This is to strengthen the supervision and management of self-built houses, taking effective measures to control their numbers to protect the lives and property safety of the people.
