On 28th November, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued the “2024 List of Individual Champion Enterprises of Manufacturing Industry in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region”. Guangxi Ubridge New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangxi Ubridge) won the title for its flagship product, synthetic rutile. It was also the only enterprise in Fangchenggang City awarded this honor.
The selection is an important initiative of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to deeply implement the Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Cultivation and Development of High-quality Manufacturing Enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Administrative Measures for the Determination of Individual Champion Enterprises of Manufacturing Industry, and to positively address to the Three-year Action Plan for Implementing the New Round of Industrial Revitalization in Guangxi. The selection process strictly follows multi-dimensional standards, and comprehensively examines the basic conditions, specialized development, market competitive advantages, independent innovation capability, business performance, and management competency of enterprises. It aims to discover and cultivate a number of quality enterprises with leading product technologies, strong market competitiveness, and extensive brand influence in specific segments, so as to guide Guangxi's manufacturing industry to transform and upgrade toward high-end, intelligent, and green development.

In 2023, Ubridge's “multi-stage corrosion process” for producing synthetic rutile passed the “Critical technology for overcoming cutthroat competition” evaluation of the Department of Industry Information Technology of Guangxi.
